The allure is quite strong. My boondocks instinct, though, is to temper my interest with reserve and disdain.
It’s a racist conspiracy enslaving the middle class African American man with the pursuit of the calm and comfort of public baths. To distract him from his family, his God, and his birthright, and discourage him from participating in the white economy, those persons hateful to our African culture and heritage will stop at nothing to confuse, to confound, divert, mislead, side track, and stall any advance that our people might make.
This is only the next stage of an undeclared war on my people.
In other words, I couldn’t find any pictures of tall black men in them.

we had something similar to this when i was growing up. my father won it in some newspaper contest.
